Loading...Aces and Eights (RTG) is a standard video poker with a few special hands that are not typical of classic poker. The lowest hand with a 1:1 payout is jacks or better. The second lowest hand is two pairs (2:1).
The reviewed online casino game from RTG is a full-pay variant of Aces and Eights with a 99.78% return, yet the said percentage value is applicable to a five-coin play only. If the player bets one coin per deal, the theoretical return decreases to 98.55%. The implication is that the max wagering ($ or bitcoin) is strongly recommended because the best hand (royal flush) awards 4000 credits at five coins but only 250 credits at one coin.
The unique winning hands pertinent to this type of poker are 4 twos with ace (x25), four 7s(x50) and four aces or 8s (x80). A coin has two denominations, $1 and $5, with one to five coins per deal. Finally, there is a Double Up feature activating after any win (can be skipped).
